Momaste’. 🧘♀️
Yesterday, I took one.
My husband brought our kids to his parents’ house for the day and I was left to my own devices (for the first time in recent memory!).
Should I work out? 🤔
Namaste in bed (but just for an extra hour).
Next? Coffee. Two of them. ☕️ ☕️ And I drank them 𝙝𝙤𝙩 for once.
I clean the house. All of it. It’s never looked like this and it’s the primary source of my anxious nature.
Now what?
I sit in my steam shower for 20 minutes and zone out in full #momaste mode.
Next? I do another #DIY whitewashing project (my new therapy!) and then go get chipotle for lunch (no one else in my family ever wants @chipotle. Today, this is happening. 🌯)
I finish my lunch and my work of art and decide to take a nap because when does that opportunity ever present itself- and hey, the house is clean! I deserve it.
Now it’s dinner time. I miss my family.
I never miss them (because they are 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚!).
I realize I don’t have to make anyone else dinner so I opt for red wine, cheese and crackers to pair with the previous night’s @abc2020
Where did the time go? They’re back.
I transfer my sleeping kids directly into their beds and my husband and I go to bed early.
Ahhhhh. . . Momaste.’ 🧘♀️
